City Council District A Map (OPDEC)

While the Democratic State Central Committee female seat is a single successful candidate from District 94, the Orleans Parish Democratic Executive Committee is a total of 70 seats in Orleans Parish, 14 from each of the five City Council Districts.  View the District A map at the link below to see if you will be able to vote for Deborah, Alan and Megan Langhoff to fill 3 of those 70 seats in Orleans Parish. http://www.nocitycouncil.com/maps/NOCCDistrictA.pdf

Two of the three great levee breeches that transformed Katrina from a disaster to a catastrophe happened in House District 94. The district bore the brunt of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' failure to properly construct the levees that were supposed to protect us. What the levees gave District 94 was a false sense of security.

Deborah Langhoff has worked tirelessly to ensure that the interests of homeowners, small businesses and neighborhoods in District 94 and across New Orleans have been articulated and heard. From home cleanups to neighborhood councils, to planning groups to Road Home meetings, Deborah Langhoff has been there pressing for action that is responsive to the needs of the people in our District.

The recovery of District 94 and of our City depends, to a greater degree than we've ever appreciated, on having honest, energetic and effective voices for our interests.
